Residencies

Henry Ward works in progress 2024

The residencies are directed towards established artists working in painting, drawing or writing. We provide large scale personal studio space with self-catering accommodation. Our aim is to provide you with the resource and situation to enable you to make high quality work.

All the studios have natural daylight. There are two painters studios each 50msq and there is a drawing studio of 40msq. The studios are open during daylight hours, though we respect some artists may wish to work in artificial light.

The painters studio walls are 3.2m high and 6.5m long, The drawing studio walls are 3m high and 4m long. There is also a technical drawing table situated on a mezzine in the drawing studio. The studios are ideal for artists wishing to explore large scale work, or sequential work in a big space.
